2 dollar bill, Cinderella blue and a dress
Tonight is my daughters Homecoming. It seems strange that we have arrived at this day. She is a junior and the theme was Disney. Which couldn't be more fitting cause she absolutely loves anything Disney, Disneyland in particular. One day she wants to be a princess. This week we shopped until we found the perfect dress. It couldn't be anything that all the other girls would be wearing. We found the perfect shoes, the perfect ring, the perfect earrings, the perfect clutch and the perfect nail polish we named Cinderella Blue. She wanted a boutonniere for her date that know one else would have. So we made one, and what we ended up with is nothing short of, well, perfect. Tonight she is perfect, a princess in every sense of the word. I told her I would shoot the night like a wedding. And in a strange way it made me realize that as fast as the years have gone they will continue to speed along until it really is her wedding day. Then she will be a princess again.

You're creativity astounds me! Truly it is such a gift! She is a such a princess, inside & out :-) Thank you for sharing these pictures!!
Ahh, you're too kind :) Hahhah. Actually, I was channeling Loree while walking through the craft store. I was thinking about all she has taught me when I have done floral with her for weddings. I was really proud of it though. I kept walking around the house and saying "Seriously, this looks so legit, like a real one" HAHA. Of course it was real... but you know how that is. I'm glad you liked the pictures. And Yah!!!! for comments ;)
